Maya is a 21-year-old living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a passion for cooking all types of cuisines - from Japanese and Indian to her favorite: Italian. When it comes to dessert, there is always room for her delicious pastries and cakes. Previously, she worked in food prep as a chef's assistant in the kitchens of Restaurant James Randall in Los Gatos, CA and Restaurant 1833 in Monterey, CA. She recently earned the California Food Handler Certification. From January she became a student at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA trying to take some hospitality classes so that she can move forward in her culinary major and work in another restaurant in the summer of this year!:D She is very excited and looking forward to sharing more of her delicious foods to everyone!
